He could have predicted the start of a movement. Bettman, along with Gozde Eker as set designer, created ephemeral installation in public places throughout Manhattan and Brooklyn where passers-by could stop and play. The project was titled by him #SetintheStreet .

Bettman still uses the tableaux aesthetic, and New York City is his theme. But this time he stages classic city moments from today’s past or 50 years ago. Alison Zavos, Feature Shoot’s Editor-in Chief, spoke with Bettman to learn more about his work and his city.
