The recent departure of Italian food writer Marcella Hazan is credited with saying, “Cooking, like art, can be enjoyed by all.” Recently, food and photography have been a hot topic, from photographers taking the unusual route of photographing cookbooks, to others using food to create full-blown galleries installations. We’re now looking for images that capture the intersection between art and food. This can be anything from artfully photographed food to food made into art.
Alison Zavos is the Editor-in Chief at Feature Shoot. She will curate this group show. Email up to five images (620 pixel wide on the shortest edge, saved for the web, without borders or watermarks), titled with your first name and number of the picture (ex:yourname_01.jpg), to fsgroupshow at gmail.com, with the subject “Art of Food”. Include your full name, web address and captions for the images in the body of your email.
